We do not concern ourselves with the quantity of time that they have left, rather the quality of the life that we can provide for them during their time with us. Every senior animal has the right to a high quality of life, love, care, and a home in their remaining years.

 

We rescue toy breed senior and/or special needs dogs from shelters and/or owner release, bringing them to our Sanctuary to live out the remainder of their lives in a sort of dog retirement community. We are committed to cleaning up the amounts of questionable fluids and solids, staying up 24 hours a day to cuddle the struggles of dementia, hurt feelings, and to deal with the deafening moment of barking when the there is a knock at the door.

 

We believe in building connections for senior dogs and people in the community through support and assistance with special cases, adoptions and taking in senior dogs for people facing the ends of their lives.
